Meeting Baby Hadley

Last weekend, Houston and Campbell got to meet their new cousin, Hadley Kay Kirk.

She is the sweetest little baby. Congrats Uncle Drew and Aunt Heather!

Even though Houston is going through the terrible threes, it is very hard to keep a straight face most of the time. He already knows how to use humor and that smile of his to attempt to get out of trouble. Here are a few of my favorite things about Houston these days.

-Every morning Houston asks," Is Daddy staying home today?" If the answer is no. His next question is "Do I have "cool" (school) today?

- If Campbell is crying in the car, Houston tries to comfort her.

"Baby girl, we are almost home." or "What's wrong Campbell Grace? It will be okay."

I noticed the other day that they were holding hands in the back seat. It melts my heart.

-When Houston was working on a maze, I told him that the bunny needed to go around the logs to get to his mommy. He told me --"No he doesn't. Bunnies can jump."

-Houston LOVES his friends. When he talks about his friends, he specifically means his friends from school.

Turning Three

Houston's birthday was so much fun this year. I think that we heard about his birthday every day during the month of February. There were s few things that Houston insisted upon. First, he wanted a Toy Story party with a Buzz cake. Secondly, he wanted all of his "friends" to come.
