Dr. Sawyer just stopped by to check on Houston, and said that he is doing excellent. He expects Houston to get back into his normal routine over the next few days.
Nurses are scheduled to come in twice tonight to take his vitals, so hopefully Houston can sleep through it!
Based on the children in surrounding rooms in obvious (audible) pain, we are very lucky that Houston has done so well. We feel blessed, and really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.

Hey, Bronwen! I am so thrilled to read how well everything went with Houston yesterday. He was on my mind all day, and all throughout the day I prayed for that sweet little baby! It sounds like God has been right beside you as you've walked through this journey, and He will continue to be, I know. Thank you for these updates, and for sharing your blog with us on facebook. I will continue to pray...Drew wanted me tell you hi and that he is praying for Houston, too! I've shown him all his pics on your facebook page, so he's been able to keep updated on how cute he is! I am so glad to hear that Houston is doing well! It looks like everything went great. We were certainly thinking about and praying for him all day yesterday and will continue. He is such a strong, sweet little boy and I know that he will get through this all wonderfully! We love you all!
