We arrived and Houston got checked in with the nurse. Dr. Paidipalli came in to walk us through the anesthesia process, and Dr. Sawyer came by to answer any questions. They said they expected to get started around 8 and it would take about an hour and a half.
Houston had a very good morning considering his very early wakeup time and skipped breakfast. He flirted with every nurse.
At 7:30, we walked him down to the Bunny Room where he got to pick out a new dumptruck to play with. Then, the staff took him down to his operation room.
So, now we're just playing the waiting game.

I first checked out your blog after hearing about it at babygarten on Monday. We wish all the best for Houston (& for your family) and the medical team (providing his care) during Houston's surgery and while in recovery afterwards.
